The Ivydale trailhead is located in the town of Ivydale across the Elk River bridge from WV route 4. The trailhead is approximately 9.8 miles south of the Duck trailhead and 12 miles north of the Dundon (Clay) trailhead.
Directions to Ivydale Trailhead: Take I-79 Exit 40 Big Otter. Turn right onto Big Otter Highway (CR-16) towards Clay until the road ends. Turn right onto State Route 4 south for 0.4 miles until you see the bridge on your left. Turn left onto Ivydale Bridge Road. As soon as you cross the bridge, the parking is on the right.
