This access is at the back of the parking lot for the Mon Power and USDA Service Center. It is undeveloped, poorly marked and near a well-groomed yard. Please stay out of the next-door neighbor’s property. To enter there would be trespassing. A grass, overgrown path will take you to the river’s edge at the end of the Mon Power Parking Lot. Use the back portion of the Mon Power parking area without blocking utility vehicles or gates. Est. 30 parking spots. Distance from parking area to river: moderate.
Directions From I-79
From I-79 exit 62 (Sutton/Gassaway)(2.2 mi.). Turn right on Rt 4 S. Continue for 2.2 miles and turn left at the Mon Power Service Center, then proceed straight to the boat launch.

Dirt to a shallow area in shoals under normal water conditions. Unrestricted hours. Not handicapped accessible. Ease of river access: difficult.
