Location Description
Owned by WV Division of Natural Resources. Formerly called Coonskin Access. This is an old WVDNR access site no longer maintained. Located a short distance from the Mink Shoals exit (Exit #1) on I-79.

Directions From I-79
From I-79 exit 1 (Mink Shoals): Head north on 119 N/Pennsylvania Ave (right hand turn from south, left hand turn from north). Bear to the right in about 250 feet (just past Hardings Restaurant) to enter boat launch area.
Accessibility
The ramp is a concrete ramp with wooden skids and a set of steps down the middle ending at the river. It is long and steep. Ease of access: difficult. Unrestricted hours, but not user friendly; don’t go after dark. Unrestricted hours. Not handicapped accessible.
